Hi I'm Paisley! Welcome to the Playroom!
I'm an artist, filmmaker, worldbuilder, new(ish) parent, and creative human trying to live an artful life!
Paisley's Playroom is a space to share musings on children's media, ethical technology, queer parenting, education, worldbuilding and mooOOOoore!
It is also a peak into my creative process and a place to share cool stuff.
But mostly, Paisley's Playroom is a way of holding myself accountable to my dream: making art and media that fosters imagination and curiosity in kids and families!
It feels really cool to share this dream, and write about it here, after putting it in a shoe-box in the back of my closet for a while. I knew it was there, but kept waiting for the right time to pull it out.
The right time is now!
And I'm a bit nervous. Turns out it's kind of scary to look directly at your dream!
But by now, the shoe-box has been dusted off, and the lid cracked open, emitting a warm, rather inviting, sparkly glow... There's no going back now..
